Sakunda Holdings has three distinct operating divisions namely Sakunda Energy, Sakunda Trading and Sakunda Logistics. Each of these has a separate mandate and operates as a profit centre. Sakunda Trading is responsible for the procurement and importation of bulk fuel from reputable international oil traders and wholesale it to Oil Companies and bulk fuel buyers including Sakunda Energy. Sakunda Energy is a leading player in the Fuel sector in  Africa’s Southern Region. Founded in the year 2005 in Zimbabwe, Sakunda Energy has now grown to become a leading importer and supplier of fuel into Zimbabwe and countries such a Malawi and Zambia. Sakunda Energy seeks to leverage on local and international opportunities to create value chains that enable customers to get dynamic products of  high quality service. Sakunda has over the last few years established its foothold in the importation of petroleum products into Zimbabwe.

Sakunda energy was among the first locally owned companies that entered the Fuel sector soon after its liberalisation in the early 2000’s. Having moved from strength to strength, Sakunda energy has in the last few years emerged as one of Zimbabwe’s leading indigenous players in the oil industry.
